Cleveland Tramrail

Cleveland Tramrail offers underhung bridge cranes with a load capacity of up to 40 tons when customized for maximum capacity. They are designed with high carbon tracks within the Tarca Track system, a high-quality innovative solution. When compared to I-beam cranes, Cleveland Tramrail monorails provide a lower lifetime cost. The patented track is designed with tight dimensional tolerances for uniform weight distribution. They are available in both straight and curved tracks and can have interlocks for bridge cranes and switches to change the direction of tracks.

We carry the most used components from Cleveland Tramrail monorails, including:

Type "ST" Collectors and Brackets

We regularly stock primary products found within the “ST” line, including sliding shoes, cleaning shoes, assemblies, terminals, support shafts, spacers, and more. This includes high position and low position motorhead support brackets.

SAFPOWRBAR® Components

Our extensive inventory of SAFPOWRBAR® components includes current traps, collector leads, conductor bar ends, conductor bars, couplings, plastic guides, in-line air gap insulator assemblies, support bolts, special support insulators, and support insulators.

Gorbel

Gorbel has 40 years of experience in the world of ergonomic lifting and material handling. They develop machinery that can handle loads ranging from 40 pounds to 50 tons. The company prides itself on maximizing safety and efficiency by staying on the cutting edge of the latest overhead technologies.

Our popular Gorbel products include:

Articulating Jib Cranes

Articulating Jib Cranes position loads in places that are difficult to reach for traditional jibs. They are an excellent solution for reaching around corners and into machines.

Wall Mounted Jib Cranes

These jibs are ideal for applications that demand maneuvering around obstacles or under obstructions. They have a 200-degree rotation on the primary boom and have a maximum capacity of 2,000 pounds.

Ceiling Mounted Jib Cranes

Contrary to their name, these jibs can be mounted to the ceiling or a Gorbel-supported platform. This means the ceiling mounted jib can be used outdoors with the proper platform.

Free Standing Jib Cranes

A free-standing jib is an excellent alternative to an articulating jib when there are insufficient walls or columns for mounting. These jibs offer 360 degrees of motion at each pivot point and have a maximum capacity of 2,000 pounds.

Gorbel Workstation Cranes

Gorbel manufactures workstation cranes available in aluminum or steel. Both incorporate an enclosed track that has high strength and low weight. They reduce worker strain by transporting heavy loads across workspaces.

Gorbel Monorail Systems

Much like their workstation cranes, Gorbel monorail systems are available in both aluminum and steel. Hoists can be designed to tolerate loads of 4,000 pounds.

Duct-O-Wire

Duct-O-Wire is a top provider of electrical and control products for monorails, hoists, overhead cranes, trolleys, automatic stacker-retrieval systems, and other material handling applications. The company was founded in the 1940s and quickly developed a reputation for building durable and reliable systems. In addition to their quality, Duct-O-Wire products can be installed quickly.

Some of the more popular Duct-O-Wire products we carry include:

Industrial Festoon Systems

Tracks are available in two systems: 14 Gauge C-Track and 12 Gauge C-Track. These are available in galvanized steel or stainless steel. Aluminum tracks can be made available for pipe-type trolleys, both straight and curved.

Conductor Bar Systems

Conductor bar systems convey electric power to equipment and are covered with ultraviolet additives for outdoor locations. All figure 8 configurations can tolerate high temperatures of up to 280°F.

Munck

Munck is an established provider of both standard and customized material handling systems. They have a wide range of products from overhead cranes to highly customized systems. The company is nearly 100 years old and has exported its products around the world. Safety has remained a top priority for Munck, earning them an eSafe product approval recognition.

As Munck specializes in customization, they have many parts across their inventory. Some of the more popular items include:

Munck Brakes

Brakes are a critical safety component for any type of lifting system. They are needed to hold loads in place when the hoist motor is turned off and are crucial for establishing safe lowering speeds. Brakes are supported by covers, shock absorbers, springs, drums, fans, and other components.

Munck Wheels

Crane wheels are responsible for carrying the weight of the crane in action to the load. As such, they need to be made from the best materials that can withstand tremendous pressure. Munck provides wheels for cranes, trolleys, and a variety of wheel axles.

Munck Gears

Gears and gearboxes are one of the most important components when designing a lifting solution. Munck gears are specifically designed to reduce power consumption and wear, effectively reducing cost. Munck manufactures gears for both hoists and motors. They also provide numerous components, including gear housing, pinions, and transmission gears.

Munck Gear Paraphernalia

We carry a large line of Munck gear paraphernalia, including drums, sheaves, guides, and their applicable accessories.

Magnetek

Magnetek is a leading provider of variable frequency drives (VFD). This is an AC motor controller that operates a corresponding motor at adjustable speeds.

Some of the leading Magnetek VFD products we carry are:

VFD Motor Control Products

VFDs can be described as “the brains in the crane.” The deliver precise motion control, ensuring reliable performance.

Crane-Specific VFDs

Magnetek VFDs are better than general-purpose VFDs. They are designed to meet specific needs for individual cranes and applications.

AC IMPULSE Drives

These enable feedback throughout the operating system. This can improve operating performance by considering motor control predictability and other factors. Some of our more popular IMPULSE drives include G+ Mini, G+ Series 4, and VG+ Series.

Dynamic Braking Resistors

These parts are especially helpful in robust cycle tasks in industrial sectors. When incorporated with DC or AC controls, dynamic braking can extend the lifespan of brake linings.
