American Crane & Equipment Corporation (ACECO) is proud to serve as Executive Producer on In Search of the Vikings, a feature-length documentary that follows American Crane & Equipment Corporation’s CEO Karen Norheim and her sister, Co-Owner and Executive Director of Outreach and Development Stephanie Delibertis, as they traveled to Bergen, Norway, to trace their family’s roots. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Chris Bryant and produced by Empire Studios, the film goes beyond a simple genealogy trip. It’s an intimate exploration of how heritage, history and personal legacy shape the leaders we become. For Norheim and Delibertis, that meant uncovering the stories, traditions and values passed down through generations of their family, and understanding how those roots continue to inform the way they lead ACECO today.
At its core, In Search of the Vikings is a story about resilience, sisterhood and staying grounded in where you come from, themes American Crane believes deserve to be told. Supporting this project reflects our belief that leadership is about more than the day-to-day; it’s about legacy, purpose and the people who shaped us long before we ever stepped into a boardroom. As Delibertis put it in reflecting on the journey, understanding where you come from keeps you grounded in the values that shaped your family and your business.
Filming has wrapped, and the documentary is now in post-production, with a release planned later this year and a run on the film festival circuit to follow.
